Donald Ross is synonymous with iconic golf course architecture, having designed more than 400 golf courses. He began working at Oakley Country Club after moving to America from Scotland in the early 1900's, and his collection includes some of the MGA's most storied Member Clubs, including Essex County Club, Weston Golf Club, Winchester Country Club, and Vesper Country Club, to name just a few. Ross was also an accomplished player, having won two MGA Open Championships as well as four top-10 finishes at the U.S. Open.
